Hemp seeds have an outer shell which is high in fiber and an inner heart which is high in protein and amino acids. Our process uses centrifugal force to break the outer shell off of the seed, known as dehulling. Hemp hearts retain the full balanced amino acid and fatty acid profile. Hemp hearts are great for snacking and for use as an ingredient in many of your favorite recipes to add a protein and nutrient boost.
